Journal time. Hello, how are you?

I havent really journaled in quite some time now. My last journal was about me having money to get a new macbook pro. And yes, I got it. And love it.

Aside from that, these past few weeks have been quite emotional for me. Nobody died or anything, but my family has been pretty tense. My sister moved out, and my mom hasn't been in a good mood at all. I'm basically an only child now, after all these years of having a sister. And i miss that sister.

Art has been my 'turn-to' lately, but not digital. Surprisingly. My Fine Arts Center photography class has been keeping me busy. Right now we're hand coloring black and white photos that we took with our 35mm cameras. Mine is a 1978 Nikomat camera. Has anyone heard of a Nikomat? I didn't think so.
I plan on uploading some of my photography once i get it all scanned. Keep in mind that all of the work i'm doing in this class is manually processed. As in: Take the pictures. Process the film. Enlarge the negatives. Print the negatives. Get a good print. And most of this is in a darkroom. Its not easy, but its fun.

Sorry for the lack of digital work though.

What I have done digitally lately is my website, which is currently up and running but unfinished. So head on over to mshill.me to check it out. And if you've seen something like it before, don't tell anybody. The whole thing was made in flash and it's the first flash site i've ever made. I'm shocked I got this far.

As I bring this catch up journal close, I'll put in a shameless plug for my iPhone 3G which is currently up on ebay. So if you want an unlocked iPhone 3G, 16GB, go bid! The camera stopped working a little while back, but it's repairable. All proceeds from the sale are going towards a new motorola droid! Whoo!
