We all know the iTunes icon is a horrible mess. Naturally, I decided to do a revamp of it myself, so here it is for all of you lovely people.

Sorry, but how do I use these? Other icons I have downloaded came with an Icon file that I could easily associate with a shortcut. Or is this only for MACs?

I have a huge issue with this, but considering the nature of the icon itself, probably something you couldn't avoid. There's too much "noise" going on with all the gloss, which while passable enough at full size, starts to ruin the icon in smaller sizes. Look at the 32px icon - it looks as though the glyph is touching the border of the circle, now look at the 16px icon it looks like a blob of white on blue. There's a reason apple doesn't go all out with icons and it's for this reason. If you look at their website the icons there will actually be more detailed then the official icons on the computer for this reason.
